Viatu has been making waves in the startup and travel industry. Together with earning prizes in the startup sphere at Venture and Startup Days, Viatu has been an active inaugural member of Agency of Change launched by Regenerative Travel in April.

Viatu collaborates with Regenerative Travel to empower eco-conscious travellers
Regenerative Travel leads the regenerative tourism movement, advocating for sustainability and fostering positive change initiatives. Spearheading this alliance for Viatu, Bárbara Büchel, Co-founder and Chief Impact Officer, collaborates closely with the team to guide travellers through sustainable travel choices. Bárbara moderated a panel at the inaugural event of the Agency of Change Program and is now one of the members contributing to the co-creation of a regenerative travel course that should be rolled out by the end of the year. Through this program we aim to gather and share insights with other industry players, including Regenerative Travel lodges like &Beyond, Emboo Camp, and The Manta Resort, but also with other travel agents aiming to empower travellers to become stewards of the planet.
